The Junk De Luxe collection reflects an American influence and, to be more exact, vintage echoes from across the Atlantic.

Stepping out of the North American rustic dream, the JUNK designers are presenting a portrait of a matured, classy college pioneer combining elegance with a strong decisive casual edge.

Mesmerized by sweeping horizons, never-ending forests, image of Canadian woodcutters the JUNK college fashionista draws inspiration from his Canadian ancestors and a sense of freedom. He romanticizes a simple life - and praises the value of family solidarity and genuine friendships... In this context he explores all the cliches of this world, wearing updated designs of lumber jackets and shirts, check and herringbone fabrics, chunky knit wools and belted cardigans. The JUNK Boy wears his favourite gold buttoned blazer with workman trousers with a low waist and crutch, twinned with knit jacquards over corduroy shirts.

Showing another charming side of his personality, he introduces the ultimate new dressing codes: jackets, semi-constructed, with a touch of sartorial tailoring in a game of volumes and crumpled cotton/wool blends, combined with redesigned chinos rolled up above the ankles, tapered somewhat at the bottom to emphasize chunky boots or elegant shoes. The classic old chino has finally become a strong alternative to the jeans. Also lumberjack shirts in crinkled, double faced cottons are playing a leading role, worn with just about everything, from sheep skin coats to the all-time favourite patchwork jacket - the must-have design of the collection!

The collection shares a love detail, zips and horn buttons, huge pockets, padding and layering, bold colours and trims.

The personalized, quirky styling of a young fashion pioneer who is a bit of a poet and a bit of a lumberjack, introduces a masculine retro charm to the new J.D.L. look. He has an everlasting love affair with fashion, he is the master of the situation playing with customized designs and clichés - but does not take fashion dictates too seriously...
